This solo project is a game demo for an isometric CRPG. The game will feature prerendered 2d graphics, with large prerendered background environments supplemented by animated sprites for characters, projectiles, spells, etc. The demo level is set at the ruins of an ancient necropolis. Arriving at night amidst a great storm, the player has to repel raiders from a distant land.
This demo will be considered a vertical slice for a potential future product.
I'll be re-discovering game development production, ramping up skills, and learning new software to get the job done. This site will track my progress across the demo dev cycle.
